The European Commission is considering extending the research phase of the EU’s air traffic management modernisation programme, Sesar, under Horizon 2020.
According to the document released for consultation, the Commission may continue the Sesar joint undertaking (SJU), which constitutes the R&D phase of the programme, beyond its 2016 deadline.
