The European Commission has begun a consultation exercise to help it plan the metrology research programme in Horizon 2020. The consultation, which runs until 23 December, will help develop a successor to the European Metrology Research Programme, which has a budget of €400 million and is jointly funded by the EU and 22 national metrology institutes.
