Environmental, workers’ and consumers’ groups “disagree with the content and conclusions of the Commission’s documents” on nanomaterials safety, as stated in a joint letter sent to several European Commissioners.
The letter was written in response to the Commission’s second regulatory review of nanomaterials, which was published this month. It says the review’s conclusions do not reflect findings reported in a working paper published by the Commission along with the review. It also says that the working paper itself “neglects to consider all available scientific information”.
