The European Commission is gathering information on how to improve the innovative and financial aspects of Horizon 2020 for information and communication technologies (ICT) to ensure the development of web-based business.
The Commission’s DG Connect has asked entrepreneurs and companies to submit ideas for projects under Horizon 2020, which could strengthen the environment for web-based entrepreneurs and start-up companies. According to the consultation document, such support measures could include pilot projects to test new ideas, online networking platforms or mentoring programmes.
