Slovenia has set up a government agency called Spirit Slovenia to boost entrepreneurship, innovation, development, investment and tourism.
Spirit Slovenia was born from the merger of three existing agencies: the Technology Agency, the Slovenian Tourist Organisation and the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments. Its tasks will include promoting Slovenia as a location for foreign investment, as well as planning and implementing national programmes to boost entrepreneurship and innovation.
