The European Research Council has appointed eight members to its scientific council, who will oversee the organisation’s science activities until the end of Framework 7.
The incoming members include Matthias Kleiner, the president of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Klaus Bock, the chairman of the Danish National Research Foundation, and Eva Kondorosi, the director of science at the Hungarian Academy of sciences.
