EU finance ministers have criticised EU agencies for repeatedly going over-budget, for example in the case of the fusion research project Iter.
The Council of Ministers called on the EU to keep agencies’ funding under control in its 2013 budget guidelines, published after a meeting in Brussels on 21 February.
