Framework clearing committee now available

The European Commission’s committee tasked with ensuring uniform interpretation of research funding rules across services has taken up its work.

Research commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn announced the creation of the Research Clearing Committee last year, as part a set of measures to simplify Framework funding. Funding recipients can consult the committee to seek clarification about legal, financial or management matters for which there is no common position among the Commission’s services.
