The European Patent Office has given out five prizes on 14 June as part of the European Inventor Award 2012.
At a ceremony held in Copenhagen, Denmark, Gilles Gosselin, Jean-Louis Imbach and Martin Bryant earned an award in the research category for developing a treatment for hepatitis B at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
