Law professor leads European University Institute

Marise Cremona, a professor of European law, has become president ad interim of the European University Institute.

Cremona has taken over temporarily on 9 June from former European Parliament president Josep Borrell, who stepped down in April amidst allegations of a conflict of interest (see RET article via link). She will remain in office until another full-time president takes office.
