European Parliament postpones EU patent vote

The European Parliament has postponed a vote on the unitary patent, after EU leaders requested a substantial last-minute change to the draft regulation.

The vote, scheduled to take place this week in Strasbourg, France, was meant to finally seal the European Unitary Patent regulation, after an informal agreement between the Parliament and the Council of Ministers in December last year.
