The president of the local authority that hosts Iter in southern France has restated its support to the international fusion project.
During a visit to the Iter site in Cadarache on 13 July, Jean-Noël Guérini, president of the Bouches-du-Rhône département, has said that his support to the project remains intact, ten years after the region successfully bid to host Iter.
