Austria’s flow of Framework 7 money into the country is 30 per cent higher than its initial payments, according to a statement by the Austrian research ministry released on 5 September.
The country has so far managed to get 130 per cent of its investment into the Framework Programme back, said Karlheinz Töchterle, Austria’s research minister, in a spending report. The country has won four advanced grants from the European Research Council in 2011, and hosted seven grantees.
