The European Commission has published a strategic framework to coordinate research and innovation in transport between public and private players to speed up the market uptake of transport technologies.
The strategy document, which was published on 18 September, outlines plans for the development of ten R&D roadmaps in individual transport sectors, as well as green infrastructure and alternative fuel distribution. The roadmaps will include targets to coordinate development and deployment plans between industry and public bodies. They are meant to cover innovation from research to market.
