The European Technology Platform (ETP) on ‘food for life’ is to focus on innovation to improve food safety under Horizon 2020, according to its strategic research and innovation agenda for 2013 to 2020, published today.
Important research areas for the ETP will include microbiological and chemical hazards, as well as developing robust and efficient detection tools for food security, says the strategy.
