Four MEPs have said they will oppose the EU funding of research on human embryonic stem cells and embryos, Europolitics has reported.
The news website said that the MEPs plan to oppose Horizon 2020’s legality if it includes funding for embryonic stem cells research. They also plan to bring up questions about funding for projects already underway and patents based on stem cell research.
