Researchers protest over allegations of plagiarism in Romania

Researchers are planning to boycott a Romanian conference in protest following allegations the Prime Minister committed plagiarism during his PhD, according to ScienceInsider.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta, who has been accused of plagiarism in a law thesis obtained from the University of Bucharest in 2003, was set to host a networking event to reunite expatriated and Romanian scientists in the capital.
