EuropaBio, a Brussels association representing the European biotechnology industry, has called on European citizens and policymakers to reconsider the scientific evidence on genetically modified crops to allow the technology to be used more widely in the agricultural sector.
In a publication released today (22 January), EuropaBio sets out evidence in favour of the use of GM technology, which it says will be vital to tackle the shortage of food worldwide.
