The European Investment Bank and Spanish private bank Bankinter have signed a €400-million deal to finance private innovation projects.
The deal aims in particular to boost initiatives in the fields of energy, health and education, EIB says. The loans will offer low interest rates and flexible reimbursement plans to companies in Spain that employ up to 3,000 people.
