EU moves on GM crops decisions

The EU may renew discussions on whether member states should be allowed to decide whether or not to allow cultivation of genetically modified crops, Reuters has reported.

The European Commission proposed legislation in 2010 that would allow member states to make their own decisions on GM crops, but opposition from the UK, France and Germany prevented its approval, the article says.
