Agricultural EIP gets underway

The European Innovation Partnership for agricultural productivity and sustainability held its inaugural meeting on 21 February in Brussels.

The agricultural partnership is one of several EIPs designed to speed up innovation by aligning efforts and gathering funding from public and private bodies. It aims to boost the transfer of research results into farming practice and to provide more systematic feedback to scientists about what research is needed.
