ESA confident about budget prospects for EU Earth monitoring programme

The budget for the European Union's Earth monitoring programme, GMES, is “on a good track”, the European Space Agency said.

In a statement released on 19 February, after a summit earlier this month where EU heads of state agreed on long-term budget caps for 2014-20, ESA said that leaders agreed to allocate about €3.8 billion for GMES.
