U-Multirank, the European Commission’s project to build a university ranking that is based on a broader range of factors than existing indicators, was officially launched in Dublin last week and is expected to produce its first rankings early next year (see related article).
In the next few months, U-Multirank, which is being compiled by a consortium led by the Centre for Higher Education in Gütersloh, Germany, will seek to recruit hundreds of universities worldwide to participate.
