The European Commission has announced the winners of the 2013 RegioStars Awards, which highlight innovative projects funded by the EU cohesion policy that could be inspiring to other regions.
The winning projects include a science and technology cluster in Portugal, and a UK-based environmental risk website, as well as three further projects in Poland, Germany and Lithuania.
