A high-powered delegation of EU science leaders has told the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science that European science is “on the move”, spawning opportunities for researchers from the United States.
European science has been “too modest” about its achievements, Helga Nowotny, the president of the European Research Council, told researchers, policymakers and journalists in Boston.
