European Society of Cardiology opens Brussels office

The European Heart Agency, a new office for the European Society of Cardiology, is opening today (27 February) in Brussels.

ESC president Panos Vardas said his society believes that the EU needs more public policies to help prevent cardiovascular disease, which “is the biggest killer in Europe, with a huge impact on the economy… We have come to Brussels to be more active in the decision-making process.”
