Time to tackle growing antibiotic resistance
Germany’s academy of sciences, Leopoldina, has called on government and academics to improve antibiotics research. It said that growing bacteria resistance caused by years of antibiotics overuse was a serious challenge for humankind and that more collaboration between industry, patients, politics and academia was needed to tackle the problem.
