At last week’s EU Council summit, as well as tweeting about the budget figures and what they meant for Horizon 2020, the @ResearchEurope twitterati very much enjoyed taking part in some multimedia joviality to liven up proceedings. The #EUFilmClub took over as the Twitter entertainment of choice, in an “I know what you did last summit” special. After nearly 24 hours of being “Sleepless in Brussels”, leaders finally concluded the “EU Wars Episode III: The revenge of the Brit” in a manner akin to the classic “You’ve got blackmailed”. The verdict? “Commission: Impossible”.
