Poll says half of UK population wants to leave Europe

The Financial Times has reported that 50 per cent of the UK population would vote to leave the EU if presented with an in-out referendum at present.

The compares to 33 per cent that would vote to remain in the union, and 17 per cent who would not vote either way, wrote the UK-based publication on 18 February.
