Spanish government claims 7,300 research-related jobs last year

Spain's government says that public grants and loans to research-based companies have helped to create or maintain 7,300 jobs, mostly in small companies.

The government states that most business support from the secretary of state for R&D and innovation was spent through the Innpacto programme, aimed at boosting public-private cooperation.
