Donald Dingwell, secretary general of the European Research Council, is visiting India to promote the council’s elite research grants.
Since 2007, around 13 Indian researchers have been awarded ERC grants, and the council wants to increase that number.
Accompanied by Ramesh Pillai, an ERC grantee from India, Dingwell will meet officials and researchers in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and New Delhi.
