The European Commission has launched a second investigation into alleged Chinese dumping of solar-panel related products onto the EU market.
The Commission is to look into claims that China is dumping solar glass at prices below market value, which the manufacturing association EU ProSun Glass says is damaging the EU solar glass industry.
The announcement from the Commission follows the launch of an investigation into solar panel dumping in November 2012. The first complaint, launched by an association called EU ProSun, claimed China is selling products that are much cheaper than their EU-produced counterparts but are technically inferior.
