Scientific committees displeased by Luxembourg move

Scientific committees that advise the European Commission on health matters have complained that being moved to Luxembourg will hinder their work, European Voice has reported.

The decision to move three committees from Brussels to Luxembourg was announced in December as part of Commission efforts to improve efficiency, the article says. Since then, at least one committee member has stopped because of the move, it was reported. Committee members find it more difficult to get to meetings in Luxembourg than in Brussels, European Voice states.
