Telecoms watchdog backs plans for high speed internet

Digital agenda commissioner Neelie Kroes has welcomed support from Europe’s telecommunications regulators for her plans to stimulate the development of high speed internet across the EU.

Her draft regulations on ‘non-discrimination obligations and costing methodology for regulated wholesale network access’ have been approved by BEREC, the Body of European Regulators of Electronic Communications.
