The three groups representing university leaders in France published a joint statement on 23 November thanking the government for clarifying its position on work visas for international students.
The Conference of University Presidents, the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools, revealed that prime minister François Fillon had written to them on 22 November to clarify the situation.
