Research prizes mark Franco-German cooperation

The French and German governments have awarded seven prizes in their annual Gay-Lussac Humboldt awards.

Five French researchers shared €60,000 from Germany’s Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. They included Michel Espagne, a specialist in French and German cooperation, theoretical physicist Vladimir Fateev and Earth scientist Pascal Richet.
