The CNRS, France’s flagship research agency, has published a petition signed by several hundred of its researchers calling for a reasoned debate on GM crops.
The petition follows a heated debate in the media about a paper published in Food and Chemical Toxicology last month which appeared to link Monsanto’s GM maize NK603 to cancer in rats.
