French scientist honoured in China

Hugues de Thé, a French molecular biologist, is among the winners of China’s State Science and Technology Awards.

De Thé won the prize for international collaboration, having worked in partnership with Chinese scientists since 1987. He was one of eight scientists recognised at a ceremony at a ceremony in Beijing on 14 February, attended by President Hu Jintao.
