New Zealand’s National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research has announced plans for closer collaboration with GOPS, a French government environment agency funded by the Institute of Research for Development.
“The Pacific region must adapt to the impacts that climate and global economic change will increasingly cause. In this context, the need for sound, evidence-based information to enable effective decision-making is critical,” NIWA said on 7 June.
