CNRS names three innovation stars

The CNRS, France’s flagship research agency, has announced three winners for its 2012 innovation medals.

The laureates are Alain Benoît, a Grenoble-based specialist in low temperature physics; Patrick Couvreur, who focuses on the use of nanotechnology in medicine; and José-Alain Sahel, an ophthalmology professor at the Marie and Pierre Curie University in Paris and University College London.
