A drive to analyse the state of economics research and university teaching in France is under way.
Geneviève Fioraso, the country’s research minister, launched the "mission for economic sciences" on 15 October.
As part of the mission, the skills and employability of economics graduates, in comparison with those in other countries, will also be assessed.
