French research organisations, including agricultural agency INRA and development organisation the IRD, have signed up to collaborate with CGIAR, an international agriculture partnership that brings together more than 8,000 researchers.
The deal reinforces a long-standing partnership between the organisations and will lead to the construction of a CGIAR base in Montpellier.
