Government promises €150m to back France’s digital goals

France’s government plans to invest €150 million from the 2008 economic stimulus package into developing five technologies to support the digital economy, as part of a national digital roadmap published on 28 February.

The technologies given priority include high-performance computing, digital security, cloud computing and big-data services.
