France's government has launched the construction of several buildings for digital innovation at the Université Grenoble Alpes.
Geneviève Fioraso, France’s secretary of state for higher education, was present for the launch of construction work on 14 November, alongside regional representatives.
The €54-million investment is part of the Operation Campus renovation programme that was announced in 2008. The aim of the programme is to create 12 academic centres of excellence at universities in France.
