Digital learning ‘revolution’ needs more work, say universities

The CPU, France’s association of university presidents, has called for more research into the impact that emerging digital technologies have on education.

The challenges and opportunities presented by the development of digital technologies were the focus of the presidents’ annual meeting on 27 and 29 May.

At the conference, called Universities 3.0, the CPU made 10 recommendations on how institutions should make the most of emerging digital technologies. One suggestion was to create incentives for teachers by rewarding their innovative use of digital technology.
