France launches green healthcare tracking unit

The French government has set up an observatory to track whether health and social care establishments are reducing their energy consumption in line with sustainable development commitments.

The government announced the creation of the unit on 12 June. It will be overseen by ANAP, a government body that aims to boost compliance with health and social care regulation.

According to the statement, the observatory started collecting data on 1 June and will publish its first report in the autumn.
