The industry association France Biotech and the public investment bank Bpifrance have launched a joint observatory to track biomedical technology transfer projects and promote best practice in academia-industry relations.
The Technology Transfer Observatory, which was launched on 6 December, will produce an annual survey of technology transfer in the biomedical field.
Alongside this survey, the observatory will publish regular best-practice updates and recommendations for businesses and university technology transfer offices to help them reach agreements more easily.
