AgroParisTech staff to strike over Saclay move

Staff at the AgroParisTech grande école are set to strike on 15 May after the government ordered that the school should move to its new home on the Paris-Saclay University site in 2021. Staff at AgroParisTech, one of France’s leading centres for agricultural research, had asked the government to delay the move until 2027, when a Métro line connecting Paris-Saclay to central Paris and the Paris Orly airport is due to be completed.
