Survey finds ‘very high confidence’ in researchers

A government survey has revealed positive attitudes towards researchers among the French public

Most French people have a high opinion of professional researchers and their work—and think the government should invest more in research, according to a survey.

Launched at a science fair in Paris on 5 October, the survey, conducted by Ipsos on behalf of the French research ministry, paints an overwhelmingly positive picture of public attitudes toward scientific research.
