Researchers allowed access to radicalisation database

Academics will be able to probe France’s terrorism watchlist to further their work, research minister Frédérique Vidal has announced.

A “team of accredited researchers” will be able to consult the FSPRT, the terrorism prevention and radicalisation reporting database, to further their research and deepen the understanding of radicalisation, Vidal announced on 2 April.

She did not specify how many researchers will be granted access to the FSPRT nor when the database will be opened up to them.
